West Lancashire Borough Council is currently looking for a Principal Drainage Engineer to work in its Technical Services team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for management of the Councils drainage assets including culverts and trash screens. In addition you will be expected to provide expert advice in relation to planning applications ensuring compliance with local and national policies.
Its is expected that the successful applicant be in possession of either a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a closely related field, have Chartered Engineer (CEng) states with the Engineering Council (or be working towards it) or have membership of a relevant professional organisation, such as ICE or CIWEM.
