We are currently seeking to appoint a Clean and Green Operatives Apprentice to join our Clean and Green service within Street Scene Services based at the Robert Hodge Centre in Skelmersdale. As a Clean and Green Apprentice you will work as part of an experienced team, carrying out a range of environmental street cleansing and grounds maintenance tasks across the borough, working under the guidance of a Team Leader.

In addition to gaining those job specific skills you will also complete an Apprenticeship Framework Qualification in Horticulture

The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and positive approach to training and on the job learning, an interest in gardening, horticulture and maintaining the environment 

Hours of work are 7.45am to 3.45pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am to 1.45pm Friday. You may be required to work outside of these hours on occasions to meet the needs of the service.
